Labour finished at 7:30. There was some post birth bleeding, so we were asked to wait an hour before wife could be moved to her room. Then another hour. Then, they didn't return for 90 minutes until we called them on the pretext of her needing to pee. Finally got done attention, but still not sure what's happening. I've missed my last bus and I don't want to leave before I know that my wife is tucked in for the night.

Can’t wait for the pics!! Ephraim and Annie are sooo excited for their new cousin. When the phone rang this morning Annie said “talk baby, talk baby!”

You may need LOTS of bibs!! Eph was a big drooler…sopping wet and had to wear bibs all day for a while. Annie, not as much. But once your baby starts eating then bibs are crucial!

All the very, very best for you guys! I hope everything goes according to plan…… I would never object to dozens of pictures of Hammy on FB. That’s the nice thing about FB – you can just choose to ignore the pictures or spend time ooohing and aaaahing – the latter being what I most certainly will do. Don’t leave the FB addicts out!!! 6-12 months for baby citizenship is insane. Why such a delay? It's not like the kid has had time to rack up a police record, or attend a Yemeni Madrasa. All the Aussies wanted was a photo, his birth records & our family register (plus my passport).
